Andrée Putman, an authority on the perfect combination of elegance and simplicity, is a person who usually defines her style as “simple, calm, tempting and tasteful” where space and light always fit together perfectly.

“Quality” is her mean characteristic and she expects that her designs will be “accessible, comfortable, but not pretentious”. Furthermore, and thinking in the same way as her customers, “I provide my designs with a chic touch”, she says.

This French interior designer, who “looks at the past thinking of the future” and a person that always prefers “the elegance of the detail”, is inclined to show her nonconformist personality in her works “using fine materials to obtain durability, smoothness and lightness”.

Putman does not think that she has already achieved “a good work because this is an unaccomplished dream” , and “my aim is neither to get a prize, nor the recognition, but to increase the number of different styles thanks to my feelings and my mind”.
