Glamour and seduction Tweet
Christopher Guy is inspired mainly by some of the strangest places and the glamour of the Hollywood films from the 40’s and the 50’s.
His creations are the reflection of elegance and sophistication. Their lines remind us of the bodies of the most famous stars: “The signature Chris-X was inspired by the waistline of Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind, as well as a ballerina at the start of her pirouette routine.”
At present, Guy is working on a new collection based on the different styles of life. It use all his talent and incorporates all of the design and product elements to "makes a house feel like a home.”
The point is not to exaggerate the amount of details, it is to try and correct that which is a mistake in the eyes of the artist: “the opulence when it comes to interiors. The most common mistake has though to be the mismatch of colour within a single room.”
The main parts of his work is to achieve are beauty and harmony by mixing different cultures and styles. In conclusion, Guy creates real dreamy homes because each of his pieces is embedded with a little bit of history.
