Classical taste Tweet
In this project Adrienne Chinn emphasizes the image of a traditional home with a classical design and a contemporary touch. A home where Impressionist art collections, sculptures and pieces of Chelsea pottery from the 18th century can be visualized in their greatest splendor.
The atmosphere the owners wanted for their home determined the decorative elements. The interior decorator designed almost all the furniture and used a color palette based on violet, cream and green shades in accordance with the family’s tastes and necessities.
The main bedroom has a little rest area in which the white and the brown are the dominant colors that emphasize the different shades of blue, pink and green from the rest of the room. Their inspiration comes from the two Chinese lamps, the two main characters of the room.
The kitchen, with a Swedish appearance because of the white and the blue shades, has a charming atmosphere encouraging the most informal meetings. The wonderful hand-painted Delft tiles enhance the beauty of this part of the house.
The owner’s good taste and Adrienne Chinn’s impeccable work transform this apartment of London in a real reference for the enthusiasts of the most eclectic interior design.
