The glamour of the forties

Situated in a privileged enclave on the Maresme coast, at a few kilometres north from Barcelona, this stately building has really wonderful sea and mountain views.

The house, decorated by the interior designer Ana Ros following the neoclassical style of the facade, is only one of the buildings obtained after the division of the property in which the garden and the pool have received a special attention.

Inside the apartment, we discover the very image of luxury. Faithful to her style, Ana Ros takes us to a microcosm of glamour and charm that invites us to remain there as long as possible.

At a first glance, we have the sweet sensation of being in the house of a Hollywood star from the forties, although small nuances of the decoration lead us to remember the mythical Gianni Versace.

”The owner of the apartment wanted to give his suite a different image, seeking a Versace touch too. The jellyfish, fetish object of the designer, was reproduced on the floor of the bathroom, made of a single piece of travertine marble. It was important to resort to the Lizzo tapestry in order to achieve the elegance wanted by the owner, and, in addition, some gold was added to the walls, which were elaborated with decorative paint. This process was also followed in the case of the doors and cornices in order to achieve a bigger sumptuousness.”
