Elegance in the contrast

In this place of residence built in 1890 the contemporaneousness of the natural and clean lines and certain shades of the most classic and timeless style are combined.

For the restoration carried out in the interior of the house, after being considerably damaged because of a fire, the aim was clear: create an elegant space, of simple shapes to contrast with the outside masonry.

New York based designers Carl D'Aquino and Francine Monaco of D'Aquino Monaco, achieved the perfect balance in this house, giving a great deal of importance to the small details that reaffirm the project's harmony.

The natural colours bring out next to the whites of the mouldings and the cabinet-making, filling with light each place of the house.

Moreover, the interior designers created the furniture and the lamps the house has been decorated with. A perfect touch to seal the strength and the personality the work of the studio in the change of the house give off.
