Fantasy and illusion Tweet
One of the most special moment for any parent is when they chose the decoration for their children's rooms. For this reason, the company Estudio Stencil transports them to a world of fantasy thanks to a comfortable and calm atmosphere, "customizing the space with paint and giving a bigger value to the chambers of the younger members of the house".
The colours blue for boy and pink for girl are now outdated. In each creation, they use different palettes, such as "blue-grey, stone, dirty reds and dark oranges".
Each person is one of a kind and due to this so should their personal space be, capturing details such as the staging of their favourite bedtime story, or little birds, butterflies, or stories in which "the child is the protagonist, seen riding a train or an aeroplane".
The goal is to create a dream-like place, a room where "we are not only decorating, but in which parents can interact with their children".
Safety measures are also important. For that reason, the designers use "ecological water-paint" and when they give the finishing touches they're the ones who create the transparent ink which they later apply to soften the colour's intensity.
To sum up, a working philosophy which creates rooms in which anyone can unleash their imagination.
