The interior designer likes to chose furnishings and carefully pieces of art from different periods and styles to decorate his home, recovering eighteenth-century French furniture and play with modern creations by Philippe Starck.

His beautiful house is a reflection of past and present, where pictures of Carolina Rodriguez Baptista and Aïda Kalnins harmonize with the personality of a spineta from Louis XVI, or stools and headrests dazzle with African origin with Louis XV-style chairs.

The residence of the interior designer inspires peace and tranquility, recreating wisely friendly and intimate space. Each corner of the apartment is full of philosophy. Here, books are not part of the active elements of decoration. Knowledge and Zen atmosphere surrounding the apartment.

Although the designer loves each one of the rooms in hir apartment, he likes very much the for the entrance. ”Normally it is a ungrateful room, as we are not living there but it is just considered as a transit area. I like the idea to give more character to this place by playing with strong colors, such this red, and to be welcomed by Sultan's portraits”.

Cañete loves all his wonderful art collection, but there a statue that always follows him. ”Actually, when I'm moving into a new house, the first thing I bring is this old Japanese statue of Jitsu. A way of blessing the new home”. An apartment in which we must take time to discover every single detail to complete it. A space that reflects a strong personality.
