The fact of having the feeling of living in downtown Madrid, round the corner from some of the more historic streets where we can go for a walk and enjoy the lifestyle of a big city but, at the same time, have the chance of finding a private place and the pleasure of being safe in a warm and calm atmosphere.

These are the feelings that moved Jorge Fuentes to be in charge of the alterations of a beautiful duplex apartment in Chueca district, in the heart of Madrid.

”When I went into the apartment, I knew at that moment the style I wanted to give and, more over, I knew what that space should show. I wanted each corner of the house to surprise by itself and the design to be seen and felt in each room”.

In order to achieve this aim, Fuentes has decided ”to take a new turn” to the duplex apartment, doing all kind of alterations, conserving the staircase and the floor. In addition, the area of a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi belonging to an attached house has been purchased.

All colors and all materials that fit perfectly show in a great way “Fuentes personality”. The works of art distributed all over the house and some pieces of firms such as Cicero or Fendi give a strong personality to the whole apartment.

He could get an apartment with high ceilings, open, where volume and light play a star role thanks to a thorough work that he has carried out.
