The apartment of the architect and interior designer Mark Zeff in New York features grandly proportioned rooms as well as many architectural icons: heavy moldings, generous baseboards and sliding doors that illuminate the light and connection between rooms.

An apartment which dazzles thanks to his sober rooms, but very elegant, and to the details such as doorknobs of brass or glass with a vintage touch, as well as memories of his travels: Italianesque porcelain lamps and pieces of the fifties.

Zeff’s home is a testament to his diverse and highly stylized taste. His favorite room is the living room and there he is surrounded by his pieces of art, his books and his favorite furniture such as the leather black Eileen Gray Bibendum armchairs.

An apartment defined by the interior designer himself as“eclectic, simple, elegant and personal”.
