Sensuousness and comfort
Maureen Footer falls in love with the past when it comes to designing her projects in the present.
Her studies in art at the Louvre, in addition to her passion for modern and contemporary design, help her to achieve a harmony between the past and the present, which is always a distinguishing characteristic of her work.
“It is important my clients tell me they want to express and achieve in their lives through the design of the interiors of their residence.”
Once this is determined, Footer than concentrates on several important elements: color, light and furniture; to finish, she places emphasis “on the smallest details such as the selection of art and the antiques”, which she chooses to compliment the taste, architecture, and interiors of the residence.
She likes creating "chic" and "sophisticated” atmospheres which at the same time, offer ”optimal comfort”.
Each project is unique and requires it’s own special treatment for interior design, whether it be a private club, corporate office or private residences. However, all of these projects “emanate the same spirit of modern elegance” which this New York based designer loves so much.
Seeing the final result, there is no doubt that Footer loves her job and that it is with conviction and passion, she puts her heart and soul into every project.
