Color is a key element in Nimmo’s goal to create unique and magnificent living environments for his clients. He has a penchant for using a black-and-white palette in interiors. “Black and white are so versatile and can be used in traditional, modern and even futuristic settings,” Nimmo says.

Art is an essential component in the interiors that Nimmo designs because art defines the personality and taste of the client. Nimmo is adept in balancing art with interiors, combining different styles of painting and sculpture with antiques and contemporary furnishings.

Nature and the outdoors are very important in Nimmo's design work, and he is expert at creating indoor-outdoor living environments. He always takes into consideration the setting a house is in and the configuration of the rooms to maximize the view of gardens, lush landscapes or the ocean, depending on the location of the house.

Seeking to achieve the perfect balance between indoors and outdoors, his interiors always end up in beautiful gardens that become exterior rooms which people enjoy living in year-round. In this way the client has a sensation of living in an oasis of luxury and nature.
